It’s no secret about how much I have really come to enjoy diffusing essential oils. I’ve spoken about combining individual oils as homemade blends, you can read that here

Often, though, I find myself reaching for a blend. This is a list of the blends I am reaching for most right now.

Christmas Spirit

As the name says, this blend combines all the scents you’d associate with Christmas. It combines orange, cinnamon and black spruce in a way that, for me, invites all the charm of Christmas nostalgia.

Believe

With notes of fir, bergamot, frankincense and spruce, this blend is earthy and calming. I like to diffuse it while working because I find it gives me a boost to work through those imposter syndrome thoughts.

Stress Away

This is one of my all time favorite blends for any time of year. Stress Away blends copaiba, lime, cedarwood along with a few others. But the scent I smell most strongly is the vanilla. Opening this bottle and taking some sniffs has an instant calming effect for me. Gosh, I just love it!

Release

Another one of my all time favorite blends, Release helps me regulate my nervous system by calming emotions. The notes of ylang ylang, geranium, Royal Hawaiian sandalwood and grapefruit, amongst others, gives a bright and earthy scent that I just love diffusing during my morning quiet time. Turning on my diffuser filled with Release, sitting down in my easy chair by the slowly brightening window with my coffee and devotional in hand, has become a daily ritual that grounds me and prepares me for the day ahead.

Thieves

I wasn’t a fan of Thieves when I first smelled it, to be honest with you. But, also, my olfactory was used to synthetic scents. And when you’re used to manufactured synthetics, your body doesn’t really know what to do with natural, wholesome ingredients. However, since weaning myself off of synthetics, the blend of essential oils in Thieves has become a familiar and comforting combination to me. I also really appreciate how the blend helps boost my immune system during these colder months. The notes of clove, lemon, cinnamon bark, eucalyptus and rosemary are also savory in nature and so that’s why I’ve been diffusing it in my kitchen. Smells like the season, aids your immune system and has the comfort of a warm meal.

Each of these blends offers great smelling combinations of essential oils along with additional benefits. Whether you need an emotional boost or a boost for your immune system, these are great alternatives for those synthetic products.
