Wait a minute. This is the first week of the month, aren't we supposed to be talking about gathering people together and spending time together while eating and drinking together?

Where’s the wine? What happened to the charcuterie board! Why isn’t there any laughing and good conversation?

I get it. Solitude isn’t what you’d normally think of when you think of gathering.

Hear me out, though. I think there are times when it’s absolutely appropriate to take some time to yourself. If you’re an introvert, like me, you revel in your alone time. It rejuvenates you, and replenishes and refreshes your soul. Solitude is absolutely necessary to your holistic wellbeing.

So, what are some things you can do when gathering alone, by yourself, in solitude?
