It’s been an interesting year, hasn’t it? As we’ve all been forced into a slower pace of quiet and solitude, it’s created much more mental space for considering areas in life that the hustle and bustle push out.
One of the things I’ve been considering more is self-care. I mean, we all know it’s healthy to incorporate into your daily life to help reduce stress, increase all the good vibes, and just generally be good to yourself.
So how do you accomplish satisfactory self-care? I think it comes down to listening to yourself. It’s so super important to know yourself and your triggers and understand what drains you and when you need to take a step back to regroup and re-energize.
And I think that’s a critical part of self-care, particularly during this time. Being mindful of yourself. Acknowledging the things that make your soul come alive and pursuing them. Embracing those things of life that you really love and are unique to you.
So what are some things you can do to care for yourself?
